Her use of rare Noongar language, woven into songwriting perfectly captures the essence of ancient language and contemporary connection.
Gina has been named Indigenous Artist of the Year at the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2022 WA Music Industry Awards. She is a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
With her late husband Guy, Gina has written two operatic works, released two books and recorded four albums.
